This class focuses on the chakra system. These are the seven main vortices of energy that enliven our body. We will spend a month on each chakra, using breath, mudra (hand gestures), postures and meditation to explore and work with the energy of each particular chakra. Reading and journaling can also add to the experience, if you chose to do so. “Sevenfold Journey” by Anodea Judith & Selene Vega is an excellent workbook to accompany this class.
Journey Through the Chakras
Vinyasa means breath linking movement. This is the foundation of our moving meditation or vinyasa flow class. We allow our breath to be our investigative tool . Learning to move through tension, stress, anxiety, judgments, injuries~we practice letting go of what we simply cannot hold any longer allowing for healing to begin.
Mindful Yoga
In this class breathing exercises and yoga poses are done in a gentle and mindful way. We will draw the attention to the breath and the sensations in the body and in this way align the body, the breath, and our mind, allowing yoga to be a moving mediation. At the end of each class we will spend some time either sitting or lying in meditation. This class is appropriate for all levels from beginner to advanced.
Mixed Flow is taught in the Vinyasa style which means synchronizing breath with movement. This is an upbeat class that will bring increased flexibility, strength, and stamina. Practitioners will leave this class feeling energized and focused.

This is a fundamental class designed for first timers or experienced students looking to revisit the basics. We will focus on alignment, breath work, and guided meditation. The practitioner will leave this class feeling refreshed with a greater understanding of yoga.
Elements of Yoga
Healing Yoga is designed to promote healing, manage illness, and reduce symptoms and stress related to dis-ease in the body. This will be taught intuitively depending on the needs of the individual.
